What you'll do :

• Hands on experience troubleshooting of complex digital systems (Processors, memory, FPGAs, CPLD, microcontrollers)
• Identify and qualify replacements for obsolete parts
• Schematic / CAD updates relating to results and parts changes (Mentor Graphics flow preferred)
• Produce redlines and release documentation changes affecting product changes
• Use of both Windows and Linux operating systems to develop and execute tests
• Knowledge and use of scripting languages, e.g. PERL, PYTHON a plus
• Work closely with engineering technicians to devise and monitor tests for troubleshooting problem
• Identify rework needed to isolate and / or repair problems

The day-to-day :

Support multiple networking communication products currently in production and future Next Generator products.

Your responsibilities will include : becoming familiar with the technical design of multiple product lines and working with team members to address a variety of issues, leading efforts to troubleshoot technical issues from production and the field, leading qualification efforts for component changes including updating schematics and design information, aiding the transition of prototype units to low rate initial production, implementing board level design changes through schematics, CAD support, and board checkout.

Salary range :

132,200.00 - $230,000.00 / annually
