Job Title : Therapist – Children's Outpatient Program

Duration of Assignment : Permanent, Full-Time

Location : Southgate, MI 48195

Shift : Days (Monday – Friday, 8 : 30 AM - 5 : 00 PM)

Salary Range : $50,018 - $68,659 Annually

Start Date : ASAP

Job Duties :

Conduct intake assessments and complete required opening documentation (e.g., Integrated Biopsychosocial forms).

Gather information from multiple sources, including clients, family members, and official records.

Develop comprehensive, person-centered treatment plans with the consumer and treatment team.

Provide individual, family, and group therapy.

Perform face-to-face clinical interventions with assigned consumers at least monthly.

Conduct crisis planning, parent education, coaching, and training.

Provide referrals for services and community resources as needed.

Collaborate with psychiatrists, physicians, schools, and other support personnel for comprehensive care.

Advocate for the child and family to meet their needs and achieve self-sufficiency.

Participate in supervision, team meetings, and program evaluation.

Complete clinical records and agency documentation promptly.

Maintain appropriate licensure and complete 24 hours of child / adolescent-specific training annually.

Provide a minimum of 23 hours of billable services weekly.

Requirements :

Master’s degree or higher in social work, psychology, or counseling.

Must hold or obtain Michigan licensure (LLMSW, LMSW, LLPC, LPC, TLLP, or LLP).

Full licensure (LMSW, LP, or LPC) is preferred.

Must meet Michigan Department of Community Health requirements for a Child Mental Health Professional (CMHP) within 120 days of hire.

At least one year of experience in evaluating and treating minors and families.

Experience with electronic medical records is preferred.
