Dignity Health Medical Group - Stockton (https : / / www.dignityhealth.org / dhmf / about / network / stockton) is a multi-specialty Group that is a service of Dignity Health Medical Foundation. We are aligned with Dignity Health, the largest hospital system in California. We are in need of a General Orthopedist who has experience or interest in building a program. Our affiliate hospital, St. Joseph's Medical Center, earned the Joint Commission's Gold Seal of Approval, for Joint Replacement for Hip and Knee Certification. The incoming surgeon should anticipate a robust practice of bread and butter orthopedics cases. Upper and Lower extremity orthopedists who also enjoy general orthopedic surgeries are encouraged to apply. This is not a Sports Medicine opportunity .

Compensation Range : $650,000 - $675,000

Responsibilities
Patient Care : Diagnose and treat medical conditions; develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
Procedures : Perform surgical and non-surgical procedures; provide pre-operative and post-operative care for patients.
Communication : Effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams; foster a collaborative approach.
Documentation : Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with coding and billing regulations.
Team Collaboration : Work with healthcare professionals and participate in interdisciplinary meetings.
Quality Improvement : Engage in quality assurance initiatives and analyze clinical outcomes for improvement.
Compliance : Adhere to ethical standards and stay informed about healthcare regulations.
Continuous Learning : Stay updated on medical advancements and participate in ongoing education and training.
Qualifications
A valid and unrestricted California medical license
Board eligible or board certified in specified area of medical specialty (ABMS or AOA)
Completion of an accredited post-graduate training program
Pay Range
312.50 - $324.51 / hour
