Shenandoah National Park is reachable in approximately two hours and features over 500 miles of hiking trails across more than 200,000 acres!
About the Clinician's WorkdayThe transplant surgeon will provide inpatient and OR coverage on a Day Shift and 24-Hour restricted call schedule. Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday shifts operate as 24-hour restricted call from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM, while Wednesday and Thursday include hospital/inpatient hours from 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM followed by office hours from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Clinical responsibilities include kidney transplant surgery for adult, geriatric, and pediatric patients, with a higher volume focus on adults and older patients, as well as living donor surgery and post-operative care, complication recovery, and outpatient follow-up. Board certification is required for this assignment.
