Shift : 7 : 00 PM - 7 : 00 AM

Experience :

• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.
• 6 months of experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

Additional Details :

Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend

Floating Requirement : Will float to other Med Surg units.

Minimum 1 year required. Must be 1 year from an acute care facility.

2 Years Med / Surg Experience Preference.

Patient Age Groups : Adults, Geriatrics

Patient Diagnoses : Cat bites, GI bleeds, cellulitis, COVID, TB, pneumonia, diabetes, ETOH, drug overdose, dementia- catch all general MS unit.

Orientation Hours : 18

RTO – 10 days or less (outside of holidays), requires facility approval

Background Policy to be noted prior to submission so we can seek approval prior to offer.

Labs must be completed within 48 hours of booking assignment – completed no later than 5 business days.

10 days maximum time off

2 references from any number of months (Manager / Supervisor reference type) - required for submission
