What You’ll Do:
You’ll work closely with our physicians to deliver a seamless, compassionate experience for every patient. Responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:
- Conducting comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, medication review, and medical history.
- Preparing charts and reviewing outside medical records for upcoming visits.
- Calling in prescriptions and coordinating referrals to specialists.
- Documenting all care within the EMR with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Communicating effectively with providers, teammates, and patients.
- Assisting with pregnancy assessments and fetal heart tone monitoring.
- Supporting office procedures, including in-office surgeries.
- Maintaining professionalism and compliance with all safety, attendance, and appearance standards.
What We’re Looking For:
- A caring, patient-focused individual with strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under deadlines in a busy clinical setting.
- Medical/Nursing Assistant Certification (experience preferred but not required).
- OB/GYN or phlebotomy experience is a plus.
- Ability to stand and walk for most of the shift.
- Willingness to travel to satellite locations as needed (within Knoxville/surrounding areas).
