Overview Purpose Statement / Position Summary : The Nurse Practitioner provides nursing and medical services to patients, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention, as well as the diagnosis and management of acute and chronic diseases. The NP I functions under established standardized protocols and works autonomously as well as in collaboration with other health care professionals to diagnose and manage clients health care needs. Minimum Qualifications : 3 years pediatric clinical experience required. Education / Licensure / Certifications : Masters of Science degree in Nursing from an N.L.N. accredited graduate school of nursing required. Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing for hold out as a Nurse Practitioner as defined in Section 1482, Nurse Practice Act, Business and Professional Code. Current California Registered Nurse License and current certification as a Nurse Practitioner. BCLS; Furnishing license. AHA BLS / PALS Hours : 4 / 8 hour day shifts per week, Monday - Friday no weekends or call. Pay Scale Information USD $123,136.00 - USD $221,645.00 CHLA values the contribution each Team Member brings to our organization. Final determination of a successful candidates starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to education and experience within the job or the industry. The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
