Job descriptionGraduate of an accredited PA program. Current Physician Assistant licensure certification in the state of California. DEA certification. Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare professionals (BLS) certification. Strong clinical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems. Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-focused care. Two years of experience in acute, primary, or specialty care management or a closely related field. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification. Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) for PAs One year experience as surgical first assist. Compensation range of $56.15 - $89.85 per hour Health, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Health Savings Account 401(k) Plan 28 Paid Time Off (PTO) Days Malpractice Insurance and Tail Coverage Relocation Expense Reimbursement CME Allowance
Saint Agnes Medical Providers (SAMP) and Saint Agnes Medical Center (SAMC) have an excellent full-time employment opportunity for a Physician Assistant to join our Surgical Services team located in Fresno, California.
APP responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following :
- Coordinate and deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process.
- Manage the care of assigned patients and directing the activities of ancillary nursing staff.
- Interact with patients and their families and collaborate with other health team providers to render quality care.
