Registered Nurse (Surgical) (Full Time) Location : Medical Center - 600 Medical Center Drive, Newton, KS, 67114 Category : SURG UNIT Do you love providing compassionate care to those who suffer from illnesses or injuries? In this role, you will provide professional nursing care to patients which includes comprehensive assessment of patient and family needs, planning, coordination, teaching, counseling, and direct physical care. Your skills in evaluating patient response and progress toward outcomes will be used daily and are an essential aspect of the care you will give. We recognize we can't provide the level of compassionate care that we do without the dedicated work of people like you. We're looking for a highly professional RN who is comfortable reassuring families and communicating with doctors as well as tending to the needs of his or her patients. This is a Full-time day shift position. Three 12-hour shifts (7a-7p) a week on the Surgical / Step-Down Unit. NMC Health offers competitive base pay with Med / Surg RN shift differentials up to 55% on the weekends. Pay Range : $26.91 to $37.92 QUALIFICATIONS : Education and experience : ADN / BSN degree from an ACEN or CCNE accredited school of nursing or diploma in nursing required. Licensure, registration and certification : Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Kansas. Certification in CPR / Basic Life Support.
