Job Title : Survey Manager
Location : Cincinnati, OH
Position Overview : The Survey Manager will oversee the daily activities of 3-4 field crews, ensuring smooth operations and accurate project delivery. This role requires strong leadership, communication skills, and technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities :
Manage and schedule the daily activities of 3-4 survey field crews to ensure efficient and effective operations.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and contractors, addressing inquiries and coordinating project needs.
Oversee data flow to and from the field, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
Review and supervise field procedures to maintain high-quality standards and adherence to project requirements.
Utilize CAD software to assist with project planning and documentation; proficiency in Carlson Software is preferred.
Apply knowledge of construction layout, schedules, and contractor coordination to support successful project outcomes.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Land Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
Demonstrated experience in construction layout and working with contractors and schedules.
Proficiency in CAD software; experience with Carlson Software is a plus.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients, contractors, and field crews.
Leadership skills to guide and supervise field crews and ensure adherence to best practices.
Licensure in land surveying or civil engineering is optional but considered an asset.
