We are seeking a Professional Land Surveyor. In an ever-evolving landscape defined by rapid urbanization and technological advancements, the expertise of a Professional Land Surveyor remains indispensable.   • Conduct surveys to determine property boundaries.
  • Prepare and maintain sketches, maps, and reports of surveys.
  • Verify the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations conducted at survey sites.
  • Operate and maintain surveying instruments such as GPS equipment, theodolites, and total stations.
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and construction teams to deliver accurate land assessments.
  • Research legal records, survey records, and land titles to understand the context of a land area.
  • Supervise and manage field staff to ensure survey accuracy and efficiency.
  • Prepare and present reports on survey results to clients and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements pertaining to land surveys.
  • Advise on land development and construction projects based on survey results.

Professional Land Surveyor Qualifications & Skills

  • Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) licensure or ability to obtain one
  • Bachelor's degree in surveying, geomatics, civil engineering, or related field.
  • Proficiency in modern surveying technology and software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Experience with Geographic Information System (GIS) software.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Strong knowledge of local and federal surveying laws and regulations.
  • A degree or certification in land surveying or a related field.
  • Several years of experience in land surveying.
  • Understanding of surveying principles and practices.
  • Proficiency with surveying equipment and software.
  • Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to interpret and analyze complex data and legal documents.
  • Good physical fitness to perform fieldwork.
  • Valid driver's license.
