BASIC PURPOSE :
Scheduler is responsible for planning, coordinating and implementing nursing staff scheduling for the Health Care Center and Cambridge Village. The Scheduler also performs clerical duties for the nursing department.
MAJOR WORK ACTIVITIES :
6. Collaborate with Supervisors / Directors for staffing needs.
7. Provide input to Supervisors / Directors related to attendance, attitude and flexibility for evaluating performance of nursing staff.
8. Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements :
Education : High school diploma or equivalent
Licensure / Certification : CNA certification preferred but not required.
Experience : With at least 1 year of previous work experience as staffing coordinator or administrative assistant preferred. Must possess strong organizational and communication skills, computer skills to include typing and knowledge with nurse staffing issues.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
