Location:New Taipei City, TW
As DevOps Manager at Barco Taiwan, you will report directly to the R&D Director and functionally be part of the Global DevOps Group within our BU MX (Meeting eXperience - ClickShare). From this position, you will define global DevOps blueprints, processes, and policies throughout the R&D organization of the BU and ensure their implementation and adherence within Barco Taiwan. Your work will result in functional, high-quality, and easy-to-use CI/CD pipelines. Additionally, you will handle local responsibilities, including operational ownership of Build Management IT infrastructure, people management for two DevOps engineers, and mentoring the 'DevOps Champion' community across agile teams.
The DevOps Manager will ensure that CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure, and processes are optimized for MDEP running on Android OS. This includes managing systems, deployment strategies, and testing frameworks that guarantee compatibility and performance in Android-based environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and maintain global DevOps blueprints, processes, and policies for BU MX.
- Ensure implementation and compliance of DevOps standards within Barco Taiwan.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation in CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Take full ownership of operational activities related to Build Management IT infrastructure.
- Manage and develop a team of two DevOps engineers.
- Mentor and lead the 'DevOps Champion' community across agile teams.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field; master’s degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in DevOps or related roles, with proven leadership capabilities.
- Strong expertise in CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub CI/CD) and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in English and Chinese, both written and spoken.
- Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
- MNC environment experience preferred
- Relevant certificationsare a plus.
