Essential Job Function
Removes burrs and sharp edges from parts according to customer specification or blue prints
- Demonstrates proficiency in the use of a variety of hand and power tools
- May perform other duties necessary
- Visually and dimensionally inspects part for burrs and sharp edges
- Trains and instructs other employees as directed
- Perform parts measurements and quality checks using digital height gages and calipers; also go / no-go and thread gages
- Enter work order confirmations in Traceability software
- Record measurement data in MMS / QC Gage databases
- Manual deburring and visual inspection of parts after machining using a variety of powered hand tools
- May perform other duties as requested
