Position Overview :

University Services Information Technology (USIT) seeks a Business / Systems Analyst to connect the gap between business needs and technical solutions. This role will work independently and as part of a team to translate requirements into functional specifications for developers and other technical teams. In addition, being able to identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend solutions to enhance operational efficiency is expected. This role will support business application(s), create and manage reports, perform data analytics, and other technology and organizational efforts. The individual within this position will take initiative, ensure accountability and follow-through, and will successfully serve as a liaison between clients, technical staff, and leadership. Ideal candidates will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as a passion for the University's mission of research, education, and outreach.

Work Environment : This is a hybrid position, sharing time between on-site and remote work. On-site expectations are approximately twice per week, but can vary depending on business needs. Hours are generally 8 : 00 am - 4 : 30 pm.
