JOB TITLE : System Engineer - Aircraft Surveillance Development and Verification

ABOUT THE JOB :

This position is responsible for system development and verification activities for aircraft surveillance systems in accordance with ARP4754A systems development cycle and DO-178B software development cycle.

Surveillance systems include Airborne Collision Avoidance Systems (ACAS), Traffic Alert & Collision Avoidance Systems (TCAS), Terrain Awareness Warning Systems (TAWS) and Mode S Transponders with Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast (ADS-B) Out.

REQUIRED SKILLS :

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Electrical / Computer / Aerospace Engineering
• 5+ years Aerospace Engineering experience
• Knowledge of ARP4754A systems development cycle
• Familiarity with DO-178B software development cycle
• Experience with requirements development, capture and management
• Experience developing system level verification tests for a VALFAC (validation facility) environment including :

Authoring new test scripts
