Your Responsibilities Will Include :
- The installation, configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and administration of all new and existing server systems including but not limited to firewalls, domain controllers, communications servers (email, mobile, phone, IM), database-backend / frontend servers, file servers, web servers, standalone product / service-specific servers, backup servers / appliances in both physical and virtualized environments, both on-site and at remote locations in a near 24x7 environment
- Monitors utilization of servers and reports any failures / potential failures with server-related hardware, software, or services
- Implements best practices to ensure server systems security against unauthorized access from persons both inside and outside the company
- Maintains proper documentation for server systems as well as emergency / disaster recovery plans
- Assists PEC employees and IT support staff as needed
