LaSalle Network is currently partnered with a pioneering infrastructure as a service provider committed to technological excellence in artificial intelligence, machine learning and blockchain solutions. They are seeking a talented Linux Systems Administrator to join the team.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining their Linux-based infrastructure, ensuring reliability, security and performance across systems. Collaborating with remote teams and stakeholders, you will play a crucial part in supporting their mission-critical operations, including high-performance computing and blockchain applications. This is a full time and hybrid-based opportunity located in Irving, TX.
Linux Systems Administrator Responsibilities :
- Install, configure and maintain Linux operating systems such as CentOS, Ubuntu and Red Hat Enterprise Linux
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues and optimize resources for maximum uptime and reliability
- Implement security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection / prevention systems and access controls to protect against security threats
- Manage user accounts, permissions and access controls in line with security policies
- Conduct system backups and disaster recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and business continuity
- Automate tasks using scripting languages like Bash, Python or Perl for improved efficiency
- Collaborate with IT teams to deploy new applications and technologies in the Linux environment
