Retail IT Analyst
Job Overview :
Sapp Bros., Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Retail IT Analyst to manage, analyze, and optimize our point-of-sale systems and processes using Comdata solutions. This role requires strong analytical skills and experience in retail IT environments. The ideal candidate will collaborate with various departments to ensure smooth operations, troubleshoot issues, and provide actionable insights to improve performance and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities :
- Ensure all systems comply with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee the daily operation and performance of retail systems, addressing any issues promptly to ensure functionality.
- Analyze system data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement. Generate and present reports to management.
- Implement and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy. Work with vendors and internal teams for updates and upgrades.
- Resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and networks. Provide support and training to end-users as needed.
- Manage the integration of retail systems with other business systems, such as forecourt controllers and dispensers.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, procedures, and changes.
- Travel to retail locations as needed, approximately 40% of the time, to diagnose and resolve issues.
- Provide 24-hour support for retail locations on a rotating, week-long on-call schedule.
