Job Description
Position Summary
The Mountain Applications Systems Analyst works with cross-functional teams to support and improve Aspen Skiing Company’s portfolio of Mountain-focused applications. They will work in partnership with the ASC business areas to provide functional and technical guidance on the application portfolio, including working with teams across the organization such as Product Sales & Services (ticket offices & call center sales), Ski & Snowboard Schools, Rental, Retail, and Food & Beverage. This position reports to the Director of Business Applications.
The budgeted salary range for this position is $75,382 to $105,534. Actual pay will be dependent on budget and experience; all our salaried roles are eligible for bonus.

Essential Job Functions / Key Job Responsibilities
- Work across Product Sales & Services, Rental-Retail, Ski & Snowboard School, Food & Beverage and IT to define and prioritize a backlog that continuously delivers measurable value towards business goals
- Define requirements based on customer’s needs, market and technology trends
- Take these requirements and write crisp, clear, and concise specifications for proposed features to support development
- Work with engineering teams to estimate work, make smart tradeoffs, define milestones and deliver
- Liaison between internal stakeholders and various application vendors for troubleshooting, ticket management, releases, and roadmaps
- Configure and setup tables, facilitate day-to-day interaction with vendors and be responsible for developing and executing robust test plans
- Ensure issues uncovered during the testing cycle are prioritized, communicated and resolved in a timely manner to ensure implementation timelines are met
- Provide documentation and training for Help Desk staff, so that Help Desk staff may assist in supporting the solutions on an on-going basis
- Develop and deliver ad hoc user queries and reports
- Responsible for ongoing configuration, custom reporting, testing, integrations, and daily support company’s applications
