Job Title : Data Visualization Specialist (Tableau)
Responsibilities :
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and understand data visualization needs.
Develop and design interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Tableau.
Create visually appealing and user-friendly charts, graphs, and infographics that effectively communicate complex data.
Clean, transform, and analyze data to ensure accuracy and usability for visualization purposes.
Conduct data exploration and identify patterns, trends, and outliers to uncover actionable insights.
Optimize performance and efficiency of existing visualizations and dashboards.
Provide guidance and best practices on data visualization design and storytelling. Stay up to date with the latest trends, techniques, and advancements in data visualization tools and techniques.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and provide timely support for their visualization requirements.
Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Data Visualization Specialist or similar role. Proficiency in Tableau and Sigma. Strong understanding of data visualization principles and best practices.
Proficient in data manipulation, analysis, and transformation. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.
Ability to translate complex data into clear and concise visualizations.
Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders.
Strong in SQL and other data querying languages is preferred.
Experience with other data visualization tools (Sigma, MS Power BI) and programming languages (e.g., Python, R) is a plus.
Knowledge of statistical concepts and techniques is a plus.
