JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Description :
This is a dynamic role for someone who can combine superior technical skills, business acumen, and an ability to influence to drive impact across an organization. You will play a critical role in analyzing large sets of data to provide valuable insights and recommendations to drive both strategic and operational decisions.
What are we looking for?
Technical Skills
Undergraduate degree in a technical field such as Mathematics, Data Science, Engineering, or similar.
5 – 10years experience working in Data Analytics / Insights.
Experience in mining, automating, and analyzing large data sets to drive end-to-end analysis that accelerates business results.
Proficient to expert level visualization experience with Power BI (preferred), Tableau, or similar.
Experience working with data tables in a cloud environment, intermediate level experience in SQL a must.
Basic to intermediate level experience in programming languages such as R or Python.
Hands-on, extensive experience with Excel.
Business Skills
Demonstrated ability to engage with business leaders to define and understand business needs, design a solution, and implement it using advanced analytical methods.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations.
Ability to translate data into highly visual dashboards that can be intuitively understood by associates from entry to executive level, regardless of the user’s data fluency.
Keen focus on accuracy, efficiency, and process improvement in all aspects of work.
What will be your key responsibilities?
Responsibilities will include :
Developing, Maintaining, and Extending enterprise level dashboards & tools that track business performance & uncover insights.
Delivering bespoke analysis for BU leadership to drive strategic direction.
Driving innovation by exploring data assets in search of new applications, and / or by applying advanced analytical techniques to existing processes.
The position will work very closely with stakeholders across business units, across multiple functions & domains, bringing to life our vision of delivering insights and self-service data tools.
An ideal candidate will be intuitively “data curious” and enjoy uncovering insights from data that can enable better business decisions. They will have a background manipulating data at scale and translating it into actionable, relevant, and timely insights for stakeholders. They will exhibit strong analytical skills, written and verbal skills, and enjoy working in a collaborative team-based environment.
