Job description
Role : Tableau Developer
Location : ONSITE- McLean VA LOCAL CANDIDATES REQUESTED
Total Exp : 8 - 10 Years
Core responsibilities
Dashboard development : Create interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau Desktop and Server to visualize data and present trends.
Data preparation and modeling : Connect to various data sources prepare data for use and perform data modeling within Tableau.
Custom calculations : Develop calculated fields and formulas to meet specific business needs.
Performance optimization : Ensure dashboards and reports are optimized for speed and efficiency.
Collaboration : Work with cross-functional teams including business stakeholders data engineers and other developers to define requirements and deliver solutions.
Troubleshooting and support : Diagnose and resolve issues related to data dashboards or reports and provide ongoing support to users.
Data security : Implement data security measures to protect sensitive information.
Documentation and maintenance : Create technical designs test cases user guides and maintain / enhance existing dashboards.
Testing : Perform unit testing to verify data accuracy and functionality on development and quality assurance sites.
Key skills and qualifications
Experience with Tableau for data visualization and reporting.
Strong understanding of SQL and the ability to write complex queries.
Proficiency in data modeling concepts.
Familiarity with data analysis and visualization best practices.
