We are seeking a dedicated Acquisition Bookkeeper to accurately record and report financial information for our valued H&R Block clients. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining our clients' financial records while ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. Your attention to detail and problem-solving skills will help us enhance our bookkeeping processes.

Your Responsibilities :

• Receive and accurately enter operational data into the bookkeeping system, ensuring income, expenses, and transactions are recorded effectively.
• Ensure proper endorsement and daily deposit of checks while preparing charge card transactions promptly.
• Balance and reconcile ledgers, cash, and bank accounts, ensuring accuracy against all recorded sources.
• Generate detailed periodic financial reports to keep clients informed of their income, expenses, and other essential metrics.
• Handle payroll services as requested, including the preparation of checks and required payroll reports in compliance with wage and hour laws.
• Maintain an organized manual file system for hard-copy documents after they have been entered into our digital records.
• Proactively identify and report issues with current processes to management while proposing potential solutions, keeping clients informed along the way.
• Engage in meetings and training sessions aimed at continuously improving our bookkeeping services.
• Attend relevant training to enhance your skills and performance in this role.
• Complete other assigned duties as necessary to support our team and clients.

Compensation Details :

The pay range for this position is $11.00 - $58.00 per hour, with opportunities for additional earnings through incentive plans. Benefits include medical and prescription drug coverage, participation in the H&R Block Retirement Savings Plan (401(k)), and employee assistance programs.
