Account Executive (Consumer Industries)
Overview :
Join our growing sales team at MXD Process, where you'll lead customer engagements across the food, beverage, personal care, and agricultural sectors. This role is ideal for a proactive salesperson who can identify needs, guide prospects through complex technical buying decisions, and close high-value capital equipment deals.
We are looking for a consultative B2B sales professional who understands regulated manufacturing environments and thrives in a technical sales process.
This position is full-time, based in Jeffersonville, Indiana , with flexible travel across North America for client visits and industry events. The position could be remote for a candidate with 5 or more years of experience in industrial equipment sales.
What You'll Do :
Engage and Qualify : Identify new opportunities through outbound prospecting and lead follow-up. Understand customer pain points and process needs through discovery calls and research.
Collaborate to Win : Work closely with application engineers to co-develop technical solutions that meet customer goals for performance, timing, and budget.
Manage the Sales Process : Own the sales lifecyclefrom prospecting and RFQ development to quote review, objection handling, and contract finalization.
Drive Deals to Close : Set meetings, follow up persistently, and manage your pipeline using HubSpot and ODOO to ensure deals stay on track and customers stay informed.
Build Relationships : Stay connected with customers after the sale. Ensure their success and look for opportunities for repeat business or referrals.
What You'll Bring :
Industry Sales Experience : At least 5 years of B2B sales experience, ideally in food, beverage, cosmetic, agriculture, or other 3A standards-based manufacturing equipment.
Process Knowledge : You've sold into regulated industries and understand the unique challenges of sanitary process design and capital equipment procurement.
Sales Skills + Tools : Strong understanding of outbound sales strategies and pipeline management using CRM tools (HubSpot preferred). Experience with ODOO or other ERP platforms is a plus.
Strong Communication : Clear, consultative communicator who can navigate conversations with plant managers, process engineers, and purchasing teams.
Results-Oriented : Proven track record of closing deals, managing timelines, and following up with urgency and care.
