Job description
Actively upscaling firm based in Raleigh-Durham targeting an experienced Tax Manager to be a key lead for the growth of firm. Key Responsibilities :
- Review tax returns, projections, and related workpapers
- Demonstrate expertise in S Corporations, Partnerships, and related entity taxation (individual taxation knowledge is a plus)
- Provide effective tax consulting, planning, and compliance services
- Oversee the day-to-day needs of clients and manage the full tax return process, including identification and resolution of tax issues
- Conduct technical tax research and apply findings to client situations
- Build and maintain strong client relationships with a proactive service approach
- Coordinate with Partners to ensure timely communication and strategic planning
- Mentor, coach, and train staff to support professional growth and high-quality work
- Stay current on evolving tax laws, industry trends, and business issues impacting clients
