Job description
A company is looking for a Tax Processing Associate.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and file over 600 sales and use tax returns monthly for level 1-2 clients
Communicate with clients to address inquiries and maintain strong relationships
Collaborate with senior staff to resolve complex issues and support higher-level filings
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
Associate's degree in accounting, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience
2-5 years of experience in tax processing, accounting, or business
Familiarity with standard tax compliance regulations for level 1-2 clients
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft tools; experience with VITR software is a plus
Willingness to receive mentoring and support peers
