LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a reputable company in the Kansas City Metro that is actively seeking a skilled Tax Associate to join their team and contribute to their financial operations.

Key Responsibilities :

Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and businesses.

Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax provisions.

Conduct research on various tax issues and provide recommendations to senior staff.

Respond to inquiries from tax authorities and gather information for tax audits.

Maintain accurate and organized tax records and documentation.

Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations.

Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with tax requirements.

Assist in special tax-related projects as needed.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

1-2 years of experience in tax preparation or a related field.

Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.

Proficiency in tax preparation software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

21 - $25 / HR

Pay Details : $21.00 to $25.00 per hour
