The Tax Preparer will be responsible for preparing and reviewing a variety of complex tax returns for individuals and businesses. This position requires in-depth knowledge of tax laws and regulations, excellent communication skills, strong excel skills, and a proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Things you will do :

• Handle communication with clients to ensure data is provided to Uplinq in a timely manner and customer is satisfied.
• Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts, and estates.
• Conduct tax research and planning to minimize tax liabilities and identify tax-saving opportunities for clients.
• Consult with clients on business and tax strategies, including financial planning and estate planning.
• Work closely with senior management to develop internal policies and procedures.
• Review financial records, income statements, and documentation to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current tax laws and regulations.
