Assistant Teacher – Full-Time - The Learning Experience - Hudson Yards
Pay : $18–$20 per hour
Schedule : Full-Time | Monday–Friday

Position Summary
We are looking for a caring, dependable, and energetic Assistant Teacher to join our full-time teaching team. This role supports multiple classrooms and age groups and is perfect for someone who enjoys variety, teamwork, and making a positive impact every day.
What You’ll Do
Support Lead Teachers in delivering our play-based L.E.A.P. Curriculum
Help maintain a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment
Assist with daily routines including playtime, meals, transitions, and cleanup
Work with different age groups (Infants, Toddlers, Preschool) as needed
Build positive relationships with children, families, and teammates
Keep classrooms organized, clean, and compliant with safety standards
Bring flexibility, positivity, and teamwork to the school each day
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required
Experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, or childcare setting preferred
Coursework or degree in Early Childhood Education is a plus
CPR / First Aid certification preferred (training available)
Must meet all state childcare licensing requirements
Reliable, caring, and passionate about working with children
