Job Description

Position Summary : Responsible for assisting certified teachers in providing quality academic and enrichment activities in the True Blue Neighbors Youth Scholars program (TBNYS).

Essential Responsibilities :

• Assist with classroom instruction and supervision of students.
• Assist with program attendance.
• Support a safe, equitable, learning environment for students of all racial, cultural, and socio-economic backgrounds.
• Supervise outside inside and outside extracurricular activities.
• Implement age-appropriate activities that support the academic development of students and meet the goals of the TBNYS program.
• Help maintain a clean and organized learning environment.
• Check classroom / program equipment to ensure they are in good condition.
• Attend all required professional development and training opportunities.
• Attend family engagement events and activities.
• Maintain a positive attitude and work with others as a member of a team.
