The team lead is responsible for supporting and leading the Production team by gathering data, training, and providing guidance to employees assigned to a work cell or function.
Responsibilities / Duties :
Drives the production SLA’s (Service Level Agreements)
Provides supervision and guidance to assigned employees.
Responsible for movement of trained personnel to effect line balancing.
Serves as an educator, communicator, and problem resolution link for all production issues.
Identifies and reports any slowdowns in production.
Coordinates and communicates with all departments as needed.
Works in a team to address and / or improve production issues.
Monitors and reports violations applicable to safety, ESD and security rules or regulations.
Tracks and reports daily trend information such as yield, process errors, rework data, audit failures.
Reviews and understands procedures for products scheduled.
May require training any new employees.
Identifies training needs and works with staff to ensure needs are consistently met.
Communicates the shift's schedule to employees.
Ensures everyone has the appropriate supplies available, i.e. boxes, bags, etc.
Performs additional duties and responsibilities as directed.
Education / Work Experience :
High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
1-3 years related experience and / or training;
Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a diverse team of employees.
Some computer skills – excel / email OR
Equivalent combination of education and experience.
