Description
Position Senior Team Lead
Location : East Hartford, CT
Duties : Current Production design configuration. Ownership and architecture of product BOM structure, adhering to quality processes for design as defined by the Product Group. Support of the Teamcenter Workflow releasing process, execution of a variety of projects generally related to machine parts usage and specifications. Misc. support of special projects such as branding and commonality metrics. Work involves NPI / CPI projects, MG Nomenclature update, NPI programs 3D grade implementation for different platform Motor Graders, 10” display update in the MG machines, Responsible for all the design controls CN review at releasing stage, Lead new development of various products with interaction & co-ordination between all departments. Feasibility & fouling checking of critical parts & assemblies by making 3D models on Pro-Engineer / Creo. Project planning, Estimation and Project management. Travel / Relocation to other unanticipated locations throughout the US is required.
Requirement : Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related + 2 years of experience as a Design Engineer, Project Leader or related and 2 years of experience in Windchill, Intralink, E-Matrix, Profile, Solid Edge ST8, and Creo Software.
In lieu of a Bachelor's Degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or related, the employer will accept two (2) additional years of work experience.
