Abou the role : PMAT is seeking a skilled Technical Writer to join our team supporting the Naval Operational Architecture under the Overmatch ESS contract. The ideal candidate will have expertise in technical writing and communications within the Navy and / or Department of Defense (DoD). This individual will be responsible for developing, editing, and delivering a wide range of technical documentation, reports, and communications.
Responsibilities :
- Technical Documentation Development : Research complex technical subject matter, organize information from multiple sources, and produce high-quality, comprehensible technical documents tailored to diverse audiences.
- Document Refinement : Draft, expand, refine, and edit architecture documents, technical concepts, and solutions into comprehensive, compliant, and compelling formats.
- Proposal and White Paper Creation : Produce compelling white papers, technical briefs, and other documentation to support customer engagements and contract objectives.
- Content Development Coordination : Collaborate with customers, technical teams, and management to ensure accurate and effective content development.
- Compliance Assurance : Ensure all documents adhere to applicable government style guides and established standards.

Clearance Required : US Citizenship and an active Secret Clearance
Work Environment :
Customer site or PMAT offices as needed. Remote work is also acceptable depending on location and access to a PMAT office. In some cases, work in a government facility may be required. Travel will be required for customer engagement, team coordination, and potentially for business development.
