The hospital has a 24-hour adult emergency department and cares for pediatric patients at a separate emergency department in collaboration with St. Louis Children’s Hospital. Missouri Baptist is the first and only hospital in St. Louis County to be named a Magnet® hospital by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). The prestigious designation is the highest credential a health care organization can receive for nursing excellence and quality patient care. Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose Responsible for performing routine duties in dealing with the daily operation of Radiology Services, including but not limited to patient transportation, radiographic film development and copying, stocking supplies and clerical duties. Responsibilities Schedules procedures, maintains medical record information, obtains prescriptions when necessary. Escorts or transports patients to and from examination area, assists technologist with patient transfers to and from imaging tables, and assists patient as needed. Maintains and ensures availability of supplies and equipment. Follows up when necessary with outside films and calls in results.
