About the role :
As a Data Business Analyst in this contract role, you will be an integral part of a transformative project aimed at revolutionizing data management and reporting capabilities. Your expertise will play a critical role in deciphering complex data requirements and translating them into actionable insights. Collaborating closely with stakeholders, you will contribute to the alignment of business needs with technical solutions..
What you'll be doing :
- Data Understanding : Delve into the intricacies of data, comprehending its nuances, structures, and flows. Collaborate with technical teams to ensure a deep understanding of source data.
- Requirement Elicitation : Partner with business stakeholders to extract comprehensive data requirements, ensuring that the solutions designed address critical business needs.
- Data Mapping : Work in tandem with technical teams to map data from diverse sources to the envisioned delivery layer data model. Ensure seamless integration and accuracy.
- Quality Assurance : Rigorously validate data integrity and accuracy by collaborating with technical teams and leveraging reconciliation tools.
- Data Transformation : Facilitate the translation of System Requirements Documents (SRDs) from DB2 to SnowSQL, bridging the gap between business needs and technical implementation.
- Collaborative Reporting : Partner with the data architect and reporting teams to understand reporting needs, ensuring that data is curated to fuel insightful reports.
- Client-Centric Innovation : Leverage your business acumen to explore new ways of reporting and deriving insights that enhance the client experience.
