Our customers are at the center of everything we do and we're looking for associates who are passionate about delivering extraordinary care. As the Technical Director, Advanced Consulting Group (ACG) Life Team, you'll play a pivotal role in helping financial professionals navigate the increasingly complex world of life insurance, wealth transfer, estate planning, and business planning. Your expertise in tax rules, planning strategies, and life insurance applications will empower advisors to deliver meaningful value to their clients while supporting growth across Nationwide's life insurance business. This position is hybrid in Columbus, Ohio for Central Ohio residents (3 days in office). Candidates located near any Nationwide office will follow the same hybrid schedule. Current Nationwide Remote Associates are also eligible, and relocation is not required for qualified candidates outside Central Ohio.

Extensive experience with estate planning, business owner planning, and high-net-worth life insurance strategies a strong plus. Proven experience partnering with financial professionals such as independent advisors, RIAs, BGAs, and producer groups.

Communication Skills: Skilled at presenting complex planning concepts in a clear and compelling manner. Comfortable leading group presentations, conducting 1:1 consultations, and developing written content aligned with Nationwide's standards.

Qualifications: Series 6 required within 120 days of hire. JD preferred due to the technical nature of the role involving legal and tax planning.

Travel: Approximately 1525% travel to meet with distribution partners, support key accounts, lead training, and represent Nationwide Life at industry events.

Your Mission

Drive Sales: Lead the strategic growth of Nationwide's life insurance offerings, with a focus on advanced strategies such as wealth transfer, ILIT funding, asset protection, business succession, executive benefits, and nonqualified planning.

Consultative Excellence: Deliver advanced planning support across estate planning, business planning, charitable strategies, retirement income planning using life insurance, and high-net-worth case design.

Engagement: Represent Nationwide by speaking at firm, broker/dealer, wholesaler, and industry events, showcasing both your subject-matter expertise and Nationwide's commitment to advisors serving complex clients.

Content Development: Create high-quality educational materials including white papers, presentations, case studies, one-pagers, and other resources supporting advisors and sales partners aligned with Nationwide's voice and compliance standards.

Join Nationwide and be part of a team shaping the future of advanced life insurance planning for financial advisors and their clients. Apply today and take the next step in your career journey with us.
