Job description

Technical Sourcer

Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers & Architects is seeking a proactive Technical Sourcer to join our growing Talent Acquisition team. This role plays a key part in supporting firm-wide hiring by identifying, engaging, and building pipelines of top technical talent across engineering, architecture, planning, environmental, surveying, geospatial, and construction management disciplines.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys uncovering hard-to-find talent and building long-term relationships with candidates. The majority of your time will be spent proactively sourcing passive talent, conducting market research, and developing talent pipelines that support current and future hiring needs. You'll also support a small portfolio of recruiting operations, including job postings, candidate dispositioning, and offer preparation within Workday.

If you're energized by finding exceptional talent, leveraging LinkedIn Recruiter and advanced Boolean search techniques, and helping recruiters connect with outstanding candidates, we'd love to hear from you.

Talent Sourcing

  • Proactively source and engage passive technical talent using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search techniques, networking, referrals, industry organizations, and other sourcing tools.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines across engineering, architecture, planning, environmental, surveying, geospatial, and construction management disciplines.
  • Conduct market research and talent mapping to identify qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs.
  • Develop targeted sourcing strategies for difficult to fill positions and provide qualified candidate leads to recruiters.
  • Conduct outreach and screen prospective candidates to assess qualifications, interest, and alignment with Wilson & Company opportunities.
  • Partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers to understand hiring priorities and support recruiting strategies.
  • Share labor market insights, talent availability, and sourcing trends to help optimize recruiting efforts.

Recruiting Operations

  • Manage a small portfolio of requisitions, including job postings, candidate communications, dispositioning, and offer preparation within Workday.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting activity within Workday and other trackers.
  • Support continuous improvement of sourcing strategies, recruiting processes, and talent market research.
  • Assist recruiters in maintaining an exceptional candidate experience throughout the hiring process.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of three (3) years of recruiting and/or sourcing experience with demonstrated success identifying and engaging passive talent.
  • Advanced experience using LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop Boolean search strings and leverage advanced sourcing techniques to identify passive technical talent.
  • Strong research, networking, and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS); Workday Recruiting experience preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience recruiting or sourcing within the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (A/E/C) industry.
  • Knowledge of engineering licensure, technical certifications, and industry organizations.
  • Experience building long-term talent pipelines and supporting passive recruiting initiatives.

What Success Looks Like

  • Builds proactive talent pipelines for Wilson's most difficult-to-fill technical positions.
  • Consistently identifies qualified passive candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter and advanced sourcing techniques.
  • Partners effectively with recruiters to improve the speed and quality of hires.
  • Reduces reliance on third-party agencies through proactive sourcing.
  • Maintains accurate recruiting data while delivering an exceptional candidate experience.

Pay Range

$28 to $36 per hour, depending on experience.
