SEAKR® Engineering, LLC (SEAKR) is seeking a technically focused Proposal Manager to lead cross-functional teams in response to new business requests. SEAKR specializes in highly reliable processing and memory systems that operate at the heart of the satellite. We are growing our Business Capture organization in order to keep pace with the changing needs of the aerospace and defense industry. Job Description
- Assemble and manage highly effective proposal development teams, with a focus on Hardware design, Flight and Test Software, Electrical Engineering, and Radiation Effects for space applications
- Coordinate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to design solutions that meet customers’ mission objectives, standards, schedule and cost constraints while being aligned with SEAKR’s technical roadmap and capabilities
- Work with Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, and Finance to assemble cohesive bids
- Create and drive proposal schedules as required, and work closely with the proposal team to maintain scheduled deliverables up to final proposal submittal
- Lead and contribute to the writing of proposal responses
- Support the development and review of Basis of Estimates (BOEs) for proposal pricing
- Coordinate the answers of Fact-Finding questions received from potential customers
- Coordinate and lead major project meeting events such as Bid / No-bid Meetings, Kick-off Meetings, Strategy Meetings, Pricing Reviews, and Executive Reviews
- Support and analyze debriefs, gathering client feedback, and help implement continuous improvements ideas.

Additional Information
Compensation : Base salary range is $125,000 - $175,000 per year, depending on qualifications. SEAKR has very rich medical, dental and vision insurance plans, along with a generous 401(k) retirement plan. In addition to base salary, employees are eligible for a year-end bonus. SEAKR offers a variety of paid leave, such as vacation, sick, bereavement, and FMLA.
