Are you driven by commercial excellence and eager to accelerate regional business growth in a dynamic, fast‑moving environment? We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead strategic initiatives that maximize top‑line growth and strengthen bottom‑line performance across the Americas region.

In this role, you will expand and convert the commercial pipeline, steer margin management, and drive critical initiatives including active portfolio management and non‑prime stock optimization. Operating at the intersection of commercial, technical, and operational domains, you will support multiple product lines and collaborate across a broad, multidisciplinary network of stakeholders—from business line leaders and regional R&T managers to global and regional commercial leadership.

You will hold key decision‑making authority in areas such as price approvals, portfolio steering, and working capital (non‑prime) management. As a full sparring partner to regional commercial leadership, you will play a pivotal role in translating global strategy into focused regional priorities and ensuring impactful execution.

Covering both North and Latin America, this position offers the opportunity to shape regional direction, elevate performance, and drive meaningful results in a challenging and rewarding business environment.

IMAGINE THE FUTURE WITH ENVALIOR

You will make key contributions to Envalior:

Margin management

  • Optimize profit margins through strategic pricing and cost control initiatives. It includes setting minimum and target prices and approval of commercial prices.
  • Analyze financial data and market trends to identify opportunities for margin improvement.

Pipeline acquisition and commercialization

  • Driving initiatives to expand market reach and capitalize on new opportunities for business growth.
  • Support the commercialization process of business and product development projects.

Product portfolio management

  • Oversee the company's product portfolio and conduct regular assessments to optimize the product mix in alignment with market demand, including lifecycle management and portfolio rationalization.

Product development in region (N2/N3)

  • Drive product development initiatives tailored to specific regional markets (N2/N3).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute regional product developments effectively.

Regional strategy translation

  • Drive and support the translation of global product line strategies into actionable plans for the regions or specific market segments.
  • Customize strategies to align with local market dynamics and regulatory requirements.

Competitor intelligence

  • Coordinate the process of gathering and analyzing competitor information to identify strengths, weaknesses, and market opportunities.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to support competitive positioning and differentiation.

Driving cost optimizations and P&L bottom line initiatives

  • Develop, support and implement initiatives to optimize costs and improve profitability.

OWC management: non-prime stock management, preferred grades

  • Support the management of operational working capital by optimizing inventory levels and stock composition, including input to regional stock tactics.
  • Support non-prime stock management and ensure availability of preferred grades to meet customer demand.

Knowledge building in region

  • Foster a culture of learning and knowledge sharing within the region on products, processes and applications.
  • Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and knowledge exchange forums to enhance local capabilities.

Requirements

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • MSc in a relevant technical field, e.g. Polymer Science, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Business, (Technical) Marketing.
  • Ideally, minimum of 8 years of experience in Sales, R&D Product development or Marketing experience, in a B2B industrial environment.
  • Fluency in English.
  • The position needs to manage multiple competencies (commercial, technical, operational), supporting multiple product lines and works in a multidisciplinary setup.
  • The position holds decision making power on price approvals, portfolio management, working capital (non-prime) management.
  • The position manages a portfolio of projects with a broad set of stake holders (business line leaders, global and regional commercial management, regional R&T managers, etc.)
  • Maintain a profound understanding of Envalior products (specifically specialty materials, market dynamics, customer needs, and the competitive landscape.
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of how commercial deals work, including product positioning and pricing tactics based on real-life experiences in the regions.
  • Foster customer intimacy to assess the probability and attractiveness of potential projects.
  • Leverage regional industry networks to capture deep market insight.
  • Demonstrate the ability to mobilize cross-functional teams and drive results.
  • Exhibit trustworthiness and reliability to effectively collaborate with Commercial VP and Sales Directors.
  • Act as a trusted sparring partner and challenger, ensuring a balanced approach between regional sales interests and overall profitability objectives.
  • Communicate effectively to represent the regions and contribute to strategic decisions as a global team Knowledge & educational level.
