The Sales Design Engineer will be responsible for generating and developing solutions for our customers. Reporting directly to the Sales Engineering Manager, this role will have exposure to the full cycle of system design, from pre-sale to the hand-off to engineering, completing the process. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

Technical Support

• Collaborate with the Sales Engineering Manager to determine specifications and technical scope of projects.
• Prepare project's technical specification list for utilization by engineering team.
• Review product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards and customer specifications. Utilize existing drawings and designs where possible.
• Design and draft the master top-level general arrangement drawing to illustrate the relation of proposed installation to customer facility.
• In collaboration with the Sales Engineering Manager, generate preliminary budgets for proposed equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS :

All employees of Globe MUST be able to pass a drug test and background check. Our industry is "safety sensitive" and we do require a negative cannabis drug screen as well.
