Today, the company develops solutions designed to improve security, intelligence, and operations for enterprises, governments, and the communities in which we live. We are looking for a Technical Events Engineer to join our regional North American Sales and Marketing team. Reporting to the Sales Engineering Manager – Inside Sales Engineering and Strategic Accounts, you will be pivotal in conceiving, designing, implementing, and managing a comprehensive technical marketing portfolio of Genetec solutions for trade shows, conferences, experience centers and sales demonstration units.
What your day will look like :
- Configure, deploy, and maintain demos of both Genetec and Technology Partner demos within the executive briefing center
- Manage facility security for visitors and staff, work with the Corporate Facilities team on system updates
- Participate in sales discovery calls to ensure preparedness of the demo infrastructure for each meeting
- Facilitate technical sessions - welcoming attendees, guiding demos, managing transitions between demos, and providing compelling demonstrations for our solutions
- Work closely with regional sales team, and corporate technical events team on continuous training
- Responsible for all equipment life cycle reporting
- Manage the inventory and system upgrades for all Technology Partner experience centers throughout North America
- Source local vendors for facility maintenance and upgrades of quarterly punch list projects for the experience center
- Establish and partner with a vendor network, to scale the technical events program and ensure efficient warehousing, upgrades, asset tracking and timely shipment throughout North America
- Collaborate with events team on equipment procurement of demo needs for North America sales equipment; both sales kits and exhibit equipment
- Source, hire and manage interns to support and scale elements of the technical event program
- Develop demonstration environments and training documentation for both tradeshows and for field sales representatives that demonstrate key differentiators of Genetec capabilities; ensure ongoing upgrades and maintenance
- Collaborate with the Genetec field sales organization to ensure they are empowered to fully leverage and demonstrate Genetec solutions through various channels (trade show, conferences, 1 : 1 sales demo, experience center)
- Back up support for all visitor needs; front desk support, badging, receiving, catering prep
