Description : Job Summary :

The objective of the position is to develop strong relationships with customers and identify opportunities to build a collaborative partnership with them. The outside sales representative will mediate between customers and internal teams, ensure timely responses and order delivery according to customer needs and improve the entire customer experience. Coordinates company technical engineering services to develop solutions to customers' needs. As requested, inform the company relative to marketing trends, competitive products, and pricing. Communicating with Account Managers regarding job directives and qualified opportunities for further development and closure. A successful Outside Sales Representative will contribute significantly to the growth of our business.

Requirements :

Essential Job Functions :

  • Sourcing new sales opportunities through various customer sales methods (door to door, cold calling, presentations etc.)
  • Prepares price quotations, communicates, or negotiates terms and conditions of sales within limits of authority, and writes orders subject to company policy.
  • Investigates product / service claims and ensures resolution of customer complaints following marketing policies.
  • Forecast sales, develop sales strategies / models, and evaluate their effectiveness.
  • Evaluate customer’s skills, needs, and build productive long-lasting relationships.
  • Meet personal and team sales targets.
  • Research accounts and generate or follow through sales leads.
  • Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory.
  • Attending meeting, sales events and trainings to keep up with of the latest developments.
  • Report and provide feedback to management using financial statistical data.
  • The position being a CRITICAL customer facing role.
  • Performs other duties as requested.

Desired Qualifications / Competencies :

  • BA / BS degree and / or equivalent of 2-5 years working as inside sales representative.
  • Track record of over-achieving sales quotas
  • Familiarity with different sales techniques and pipeline management
  • Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools
  • Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong listening and presentation skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time efficiently.
  • Initiative-taking and driving.
  • Physical Demands :

  • The physical demands are typical for an office setting. Role will require travel 10-20%.
  • Salary Range : DRAW vs COMMISSION.
