Job description

Technical Support Specialist II | On-Site in Allen, TX

Do you have a passion for tech support and want to make a real impact in the public safety space ? We’re looking for a Technical Support Specialist II to join our direct client's Mobile Video team — providing direct support for on proprietary Software's.

Location : On-site in Allen, Texas

Employment Type : 6 months contract with potential to hire

What You’ll Do

Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware / software issues for in-car and body-worn video systems.
Deliver top-tier customer service via phone, email, and remote access tools.
Support customers including law enforcement personnel – professionalism and discretion are a must.
Work with routers, switches, VPNs, VLANs, TCP / IP, Wi-Fi tech, and cloud-based environments.
Maintain detailed documentation and ticketing in ServiceNow.
Participate in on-call support rotations.

What You Bring

2+ years of technical troubleshooting or customer service experience.

Strong knowledge of networking : TCP / IP, DHCP, VPN, VLANs, etc.

Familiarity with virtualization (Hyper-V / VMware), PowerShell scripting, and security protocols (SSL / TLS).

Experience with Windows, Google Suite, ServiceNow, Bomgar.

Must pass background check.

Certifications like CompTIA A+, MCSE, CCNA, or Linux+ are a plus.

Experience supporting public safety or law enforcement environments is highly desirable.
