About the Job
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Technical Specialist with deep technical knowledge of vehicle systems and components. This individual is not a retail counterperson but a hands-on technician who understands diagnostics, repairs, and advanced vehicle technologies. The ideal candidate is passionate about automotive innovation and committed to delivering high-quality service and technical support for the call center team.
As an Automotive Technical Specialist, You Will...
- Understand advanced diagnostics and repairs on a wide range of vehicle systems, including powertrain, electrical, HVAC, suspension, and infotainment.
- Interpret and utilize technical service bulletins, wiring diagrams, and diagnostic tools and codes.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to provide feedback on vehicle performance and reliability.
- Support call center teams to understand DTC codes.
- Conduct root cause analysis and escalate complex issues to appropriate teams.
- Maintain detailed documentation of the process.
- Review and update knowledge base cards / process.
- Review calls and provide feedback.
- Help with technical training.
- Be flexible to any ad-hoc task, both technical and non-technical.
