We are seeking a Technical Writer (Contractor) to support our engineering teams by developing high-quality technical documentation, playbooks, and internal knowledge resources. The ideal candidate will work closely with engineers, architects, and program managers to translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation.

This role is critical in ensuring that our cloud platform, best practices, and technical processes are well-documented, enabling operational efficiency and knowledge sharing across teams.

Key Responsibilities :

• Create, edit, and maintain technical documentation, including architectural guides, implementation playbooks, SOPs, FAQs, and troubleshooting guides.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and product managers to gather technical information and ensure accuracy.
• Document AWS cloud solutions, cost optimization strategies, infrastructure automation, and platform services used by Experian's engineering teams.
• Develop user-friendly API documentation, configuration guides, and onboarding materials for internal tools and platforms.
• Organize and structure documentation to improve accessibility, including wiki sites (e.g., Confluence), GitHub repositories, and internal portals.
• Standardize technical writing templates, style guides, and best practices for documentation across teams.
• Support knowledge transition efforts for platform revamps, migrations, and new system implementations.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between documentation and actual system behavior.
