Job Summary

At Sonovision, we deliver high-quality technical documentation supporting some of the most advanced aerospace and defense programs in the world. We are seeking a Technical Writer with strong expertise in XML / SGML-based structured authoring, S1000D, and ATA iSpec 2200. Your work will transform complex engineering information into clear, accurate, and compliant technical content used globally.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, revise, and maintain technical documentation in accordance with S1000D (Issue 4.x / 5.x), ATA iSpec 2200, ATA 100, and AG-006 standards.
• Author Data Modules (DMs) using XML / SGML in a structured authoring environment.
• Interpret engineering drawings, maintenance procedures, and technical designs to produce accurate, user-focused documentation.
• Ensure compliance with BREX rules, project-specific business rules, and customer requirements.
• Collaborate with engineers, technical data managers, and project leads to ensure high-quality and timely deliverables.
• Maintain version control, track changes, and support configuration management activities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of documentation processes and internal best practices.
