Your role and responsibilities
As a Technology Sales Executive, you will orchestrate technology strategy with clients, focusing on IBM’s comprehensive Technology Portfolio, which includes IBM Software and IBM Infrastructure. Your core responsibilities will embrace the following:
- Develop Customer Technology Strategies: Create and manage technology solutions tailored to clients' needs, leveraging IBM’s Software and Infrastructure offerings, including Data Platform, Automation Platform, Transaction Processing Platform, Hybrid Cloud Platform, Power, Storage, Cloud, TLS, and zHW.
- Lead Solution Delivery: Ensure the successful delivery of technology solutions while aligning with customers' business goals and IBM’s technology portfolio, collaborating closely with clients to understand their objectives and challenges.
- Foster Client Relationships: Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with clients, guiding them through IBM’s technology offerings and identifying avenues for growth and innovation.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Partner with internal teams to design and execute sales strategies that utilize IBM’s technology portfolio to enhance customer success.
- Optimize Sales Outcomes: Assess customer needs and preferences to streamline sales results, spotting opportunities for enhancement and applying effective sales tactics.
Required technical and professional expertise
Candidates should possess experience in the following areas:
