Our client is a well-established and respected Managed Service Provider (MSP) with a 25-year history of providing exceptional IT solutions to businesses. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven IT Sales professional to join their team in an on-site capacity.
About the Role :
As a Business Development representative, you will be a key player in expanding our client's client base and driving revenue growth. This is a hunter role focused on bringing in new business from both existing clients and new logos. You will be responsible for the full sales cycle, from lead generation and qualification to closing deals in person. Responsibilities :
- Hunt for new business : Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within a defined territory. Utilize various strategies including networking, cold calling, referrals, and online lead generation to connect with potential clients.
- Develop and manage a strong sales pipeline : Cultivate and nurture leads through the sales cycle. Accurately forecast sales, maintain a healthy pipeline, and consistently meet or exceed sales quotas.
- Present and promote our services : Conduct compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations, effectively communicating the value proposition of our client's MSP solutions to prospective clients.
- Develop proposals and close deals : Prepare customized proposals and negotiate contracts that meet client needs and align with company objectives.
- Build and maintain relationships : Foster long-term relationships with clients by providing exceptional service and support.
- Collaborate with internal teams : Work closely with technical and service delivery teams to ensure seamless onboarding and ongoing client satisfaction.
- Stay informed : Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies.
