Thales is hiring an experience Telecom & IoT Sales to join our Mobility Connectivity Solutions (MCS) business. This role involves managing business and technology relationships with assigned accounts to drive growth and acquiring new IoT customers. The ideal candidate will excel in a fast-paced environment, work collaboratively under tight deadlines, and interact with various levels of authority. Strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and organizational talents are essential.
This position will require successfully completing a post-offer background check. Key Areas of Responsibility
Promotes and sells the full MCS Consumer and IoT Products & Solutions including advanced complex solutions for potential opportunities.
Promote and sell the full range of MCS Consumer and IoT Products & Solutions, including advanced complex solutions.
Maintain strong knowledge of eSIM standards and IoT market trends.
Manage the overall IoT sales process, including proposal creation, customer education, requirements discovery, and contract negotiations.
Support the sales strategies and approaches for specific customers, in collaboration with Key Account Managers (KAM) and Account Managers (AM).
Handle pre-sales activities in cooperation with KAMs and AMs, and manage the sales process through to completion.
Minimum Qualification
Bachelor in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering Telecommunications or a related field and or equivalent work experience can be substituted for degree.
5 years of technical expertise in Mobile Network Operator and IoT market
5+ years of experience in business development or account management roles, specifically with Mobile Network Operators or IoT solutions.
Ability to develop trusted advisor relationships with key customer executives and stakeholders
Strong negotiation and closing skills, with responsibility for achieving sales objectives for a portfolio of accounts.
Ability to leverage industry networks to identify new business opportunities within existing accounts.
Responsible for creating and presenting short-term and long-term plans for assigned accounts to MCS leadership.
Proven ability to sell to mid-size, large, and international organizations.
